An incredibly fast and flavorful noodle dish that comes together in 15 minutes. Salty, sweet, and savory with a fantastic garlicky kick. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.
Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
Heat sesame oil in a skillet or wok over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
Add soy sauce, maple syrup, and rice vinegar to the skillet. Stir to combine and heat through.
Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss well to coat them evenly in the sauce.
Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced scallions. Serve immediately.
Notes
For extra protein, add cubed tofu or edamame. For spice, add a teaspoon of sriracha or chili garlic paste to the sauce. The dish is best served fresh but can be enjoyed cold as a noodle salad.
