A deliciously creamy and crunchy fruit dip served right inside a hollowed-out pumpkin! This edible centerpiece is a huge hit at any Halloween gathering.
1containerwhipped topping8 oz, like Cool Whip, thawed
1/2cuptoffee bitslike Heath bits
apple slices, strawberries, and pretzel rodsfor serving
Instructions
Cut the top off the pumpkin. Scoop out all the seeds and stringy pulp. Pat the inside dry with a paper towel.
In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and brown sugar until smooth. Fold in the caramel sauce and whipped topping until well combined.
Gently stir in most of the toffee bits, reserving some for the top.
Scoop the dip into the hollowed-out pumpkin. Drizzle the top with extra caramel and sprinkle with the remaining toffee bits.
Serve immediately with apple slices, strawberries, and pretzel rods for dipping. The dip can be made a day ahead, but assemble in the pumpkin just before serving.
Notes
If using a real pumpkin, ensure it is clean and dry. For a longer party, you can place a small plastic bowl inside the pumpkin to hold the dip.
