- 4 chicken drumsticks skin-on
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Pat the chicken legs completely dry with paper towels. This is key for crispy skin.
- In a large bowl, toss the chicken legs with olive oil until lightly coated.
- Mix all the spices together in a small bowl, then rub the mixture evenly all over the chicken legs.
- Preheat air fryer to 380°F (190°C).
- Place chicken legs in the air fryer basket in a single layer, not touching. Air fry for 22-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the skin is crispy and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Do not overcrowd the basket. Cook in batches if necessary to ensure proper air circulation and crispiness. The cooking time may vary slightly depending on the size of your air fryer and the chicken legs.
